Kobe “Bean” Bryant is no longer with us. When I first heard the news I couldn’t believe my ears, I just sat in my car in shock. I realized right away that I would never forget where I was when I heard the news. On January 26, 2020 Kobe Bryant took off with his daughter Gigi, two of her teammates and her teammates parents took off to make to their AAU game scheduled that day.

Along the way the unthinkable would happen, the helicopter they were in crashed. There were no survivors from accident, All in all nine people perished. Details for the cause of the wreck are still under investigation.

Kobe was one of the most fierce competitors to every play professional sports. Being born in 1991, for me Kobe is my eras Michael Jordan and even though I didn’t know him personally his death will have an affect on me. I will never forget him and neither will sports history. Legends never Die.
