THE END OF AN ERA ?

As we have come to the end of the decade I look back at the years 2010 to the present time and one team in football stands out, The New England Patriots. Depending on who you ask one person comes to mind when you think of the the New England Patriots and that’s Tom Brady. Widely known in the world of professional sports as the G.O.A.T (Greatest of All Time) Tom Brady has been to five Super Bowls this decade winning three of them making him a 6 time Super Bowl champ. Brady has racked up two Super Bowl MVP’S and two league MVP’S along the way as well. When it’s all said and done he will go down as a legend and it’s been a privilege to watch his entire career playout. But is it all over…

This season Brady had one his lowest career touchdown totals to end the season with 24. Throw in eight interceptions and that doesn’t look like a bad season. But if you dive into the numbers a little bit his QBR is at only 88 which is a full 9 points lower than his 20 year career average. Is it time to start worrying if you’re the Patriots? It was bound to happen at some point, I mean after all he is 42 with 20 years in the NFL.

Personally I don’t think he’s done yet. I really feel like he’s got one more magic run in him. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go on a Legendary Post season run and lead the Patriots to his 7TH SUPER BOWL title. At the end of the day this is something only time will tell, but if I’ve learned one thing in my life watching football it’s Don’t Bet Against Brady!
